http://ben10.wikia.com/wiki/AlbedoAlbedo is a Galvan scientist trapped within the human form (albeit genetically damaged) of Earth’s greatest hero, Ben Tennyson. He first appeared in the Ben 10: Alien Force episode Good Copy, Bad Copy, which is his his current canon point. Although his Mundane also plays Darkstar, another character from the same canon, the two have never met, appeared in episodes together or mentioned each other, making it highly unlikely they are aware of each other.
Character History:Albedo grew up on Galvan Prime, the homeworld of the Galvan, a small frog like alien race with incredible advancements in science and technology. It was there that he served as the assistant to Azmuth, the creator of the Omnitrix, for an uncertain amount of time, as Azmuth seems to go through assistants on a fairly regular basis. In the universe of Ben 10, the Omnitrix is a small, watch like device that enables the wearer to transform into any intelligent species that has been genetically sampled.
When Azmuth allowed Ben Tennyson to keep the Omnitrix, Albedo was highly critical of the decision. He did not think that a “lowly, unworthy human” could be trusted to handle the Omnitrix, a device with incredible capacity to be used as a weapon, despite its creator’s intentions to use it as a peacemaking tool. When Azmuth refused to bow to his assistant’s wishes, Albedo created his own copy of the Omnitrix in spite of Azmuth’s repeated warnings that there can only be one Omnitrix in existence at any given time.
Ignoring his mentor’s warnings, Albedo created his own Omnitrix copy that for all intents and purposes, worked perfectly. However, Azmuth’s warning had been for good reason. When two Omnitrixs are in existence, the second will sync up with the first, resetting the default, untransformed setting to the host of the original Omnitrix. Since the host for the original is Ben Tennyson, a human, Albedo’s Omnitrix set its own default to human, preventing Albedo from returning to his true Galvan form.
Distraught, Albedo fled Galvan Prime and escaped to Earth where he hoped to find Ben Tennyson and take possession of the original Omnitrix in order to return to his original body. He spent days terrorizing the Forever Knights (A human cult that uses scavenged and stolen alien technology), trying to learn Ben’s location, stopping at various intervals to purchase junk food at some of Ben’s favorite places. When at last they meet, he lies to Ben about his intentions, which Ben is able to see since his own left eye twitches (revealed to him earlier by Kevin) when he lies, something Albedo’s is doing. Caught in his lie, Albedo starts fighting with Ben in an attempt to forcefully take his Omnitrix. Due to their proximity, the Omnitrixes become stuck together, generating a bioenergy feedback that damages the DNA of Albedo’s “Ben” body, giving it Albino coloration, bright red eyes and stark white hair.
After their continued transformations and struggles, Azmuth teleports to their location and disables Albedo’s Omnitrix, effectively trapping him in his human form, without the ability to transform. This action stops the bioenergy feedback, but leaves Albedo’s human form damaged. Azmuth refuses to help Albedo return to his Galvan form, saying that his punishment for his arrogance is to remain trapped in “a prison of his own making.” Albedo is taken away by the Plumber’s for his assault and theft attempts, screaming that he hates Azmuth as he is taken away. Eventually, Albedo escapes, scheming for ways to exact revenge and return himself to his true form.
Character Personality:
Albedo is arrogant, selfish, impatient, stubborn, and xenophobic towards humans. Albedo is self-righteous in his actions, believing himself to be in the right because of his perceived greater intelligence. He is also very prideful, and so convinced of his correct assumptions that he can often ignore legitimate warnings or criticism. This has caused him harm in the past, yet he still makes no conscious effort to listen to others when they advise him against something.
Currently, Albedo faces the conundrum of being a super intelligent alien trapped in the hormonal body of a human teenager. Albedo is constantly at war with his true Galvan self and the human urges and altered brain chemistry that his new body brings. For instance, he often craves junk food (specifically chilli fries) and feels compelled to scratch himself in places he believes to be inappropriate in public. Since he is now working with human brain capacity in lieu of his highly advanced Galvan brain. As a result, though he is highly scientific in mind, many of his calculations are offset by the limited computing power of the human brain and as a result, many of his inventions do not turn out as planned, a source of perpetual frustration to him.
Albedo is self important, believing himself to be a superior Galvan and that all others, humans especially, are primitive and unworthy creatures. He seems to initially spend as much time in Ben’s alien forms as possible to avoid changing back into the now default human setting of his own Omnitrix. He will often lie about his feelings and motivations, but when he does so, his left eye twitches, giving him away.
Powers and Abilities:
Albedo has great intelligence and scientific knowledge, even for a Galvan. However, this is hindered by his currently very human brain. When his Omnitrix is functional, he has a vast knowledge of its functions and capabilities. Moreso even than Ben Tennyson. His knowledge of it is on par with Azmuth and Myaxx.

[Albedo is in a lab, most likely somewhere in the Western District, working on something that appears to be scrapped together from bits and pieces of scavenged Cybertronian technology.]
[The Galvan turned human straightens his jacket and smooths his hair back. He clears his throat and turns toward the camera. His red eyes widen, apparently surprised that the feed has started already.]
Greetings, Citizens of Nautilus!
It is I, Albedo of the Galvan. I come before you today to demonstrate my latest and greatest invention...The...
[Before he can finish the device hums to life and explodes into a shower of chips, casings, and other debris.]
[When the smoke clears, Albedo is there looking charred and singed, but mostly unharmed.]
I mean to do that.
[His left eye twitches, indicating a lie.]
[With a scowl, Albedo curses under his breath and forces the camera off.]
[The feed ends.]
Third Person:
This Bending concept was proving harder than he had anticipated. Still, humans could do it, so there was no reason a Galvan like him, even one with a significant handicap like his own current and temporary one, shouldn’t be able to pull it off. So why was it giving him such a hard time? He had a very strong will. Why wasn’t it happening yet?
Albedo paced back and forth, human palms sweaty. He inwardly cursed at his body’s betrayal of his feelings. His Galvan body never did such primitive, disgusting things. He’s never had stress secretions before. It must be in the DNA of this primitive creature, just like the peculiar stress response of craving potato strips doused in meat and cheese. His mouth watered at the thought and he made a mental note to stop by the McDonald’s in the Western District later in order to sate his peculiar hunger. At least his lack of currency on Earth was a moot point her in Nautilus. Here, he could at least drown his feelings of failure with chilli fries in private.
The Galvan turned human grumbled, wiping his sweaty brow with the back of his hand. Wincing in disgust, he rubbed the moisture onto the back of his jacket. He took a deep breath and smoothed down his white hair....hair he was still getting used to having at all.
He focused intensely on making something. Nothing big, he had to remember. Human capacity being what it was, he needed to start small...on something inconsequential. He decided on a small screw. He’d used so many in labs at various points in his life. He knew their weight, their size, their texture. He’d used them in his own inventions, working them into place with his own hands. He knew the ridges and the curves and the pointed tip as the end. Albedo shut his eyes and concentrated, willing such a thing to appear in his hand. He slowly felt the small component form in his hand. When he opened his eyes to look at his handiwork, his ego deflated a little. Well, there was definitely a screw in his hand. A crooked, uneven thing...but he smiled as he realized it was the right weight and texture. That was better than the last time.
A small smile crossed his features and he stowed the screw in his pocket, taking out a small notebook and pencil from his jacket pocket and writing down notes of his progress before heading towards the West for a celebratory stop at the GothDonalds.
